Ok so a few months back i bought a suction cup dildo right? And I bought it from this website called Lovehoney and it comes in and it’s great, everythings fine but then I find out all this new stuff about how pretty much every toy that’s not made of silicone is potentially dangerous to your body cuz it’s porous and porous materials harbor bacteria.
Being that when I ordered the damn thing I didn’t know all that, my suction cup dude is NOT made of silicone, it’s made of PVC and PVC is porous. Now seeing as lots of toys are made of these materials, there’s like a checklist of things to look out for when using toys made of porous materials and one of them is to smell the thing.
SO I do, I smell this fuckin thing, expecting to be greeted by the sweet scent of nothing, or perhaps the light after hint of soap. But NO, that is NOT the smell I am greeted with.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHY BUT IT’S GOT THIS ACRID CHEMICAL SMELL THAT MADE ME FEEL WEIRD
It most certainly did NOT have that smell previously, and the fact that it does now is hella concerning. Needless to say, I’m not ok with stickin something that smells like industrial strength cleaner into my vajayjay, so now I’m disappointed and also still horny and thirsty from before only now I can’t really do much besides old fashioned stuff considering all my toys are made of this porous crap and I’m paranoid.
Guess I have to wait until I order my Bad Dragon toy, which is soon but still. Ugh why is the sex toy industry so god damned stupid and difficult to deal with?
